I joined the Modern Quilt Guild of Houston! What a talented group of people! I can't wait for the next meeting.

Quilts for Kids

Several people in my Quilt Guild "The Modern Quilt Guild" are making quilts for the Downy "Quilts for Kids" project. You sign up and they send you the fabric for the front and back, with the pattern. You add the batting and the quilting. It was easy and fun. They also ask that you send one of your own creations with it. Here are mine.

Making a quilt for my Sister's little girl

I found the most precious material and panel for a matching twin size and doll size quilt for my niece's 2nd birthday. It is called Doll Dresses. I have decorated the little dresses and almost finished putting the borders on. The pattern was in a quilt magazine and I got the material from Fat Quarter Shop.
